Sorry, I posted this in the wrong forum last time:
Hey, I am making a game based off of DM2. it will be online or offline, and larger. I need all the help I can get on this, as it will be a big project. If you are a good programmer in Java, C++, or have decoded the whole data file and would like to help me, please email me.

I'm working too about a Dungeon project. I don't know what you're doing exactly or what you've done yet, but I'm trying to reproduce the original game with best authenticity. I just want to create my own maps and scenario.
My project is developped in TP7 (I know, it's rather old...), and I've made a map editor with C++ (quite better !).
I'm working now on the mechanism of the game : HP lose, delay, attack, magic... My version is quite advanced. If you wanna get a look at it, answer me.

Same to me i'm trying to create some new clone, u can watch at screenshots at: http://dmweb.free.fr/Forum/read.php?f=9&i=139&t=139

so there is no problem with sharing ideas....Everything u see there is created in Delphi with delphiX as directx interpretor.

I have holiday i improved all system and game engine but i want to stay in 2D graphics and not to use any 3D engine......Nostalgia for me...dungeon master in 3D?? Nonsense!
