[Not a bug] Explosions inside illusionary wall

Post by billgus »

Explosions inside illusionary wall appear on the surface of the wall.

I'm not sure this a total bug. It makes sense to have some indication visible. Maybe use a small(er) explosion graphic for the part of explosion that extends beyond the illusionary square.

This is the intended behaviour (actually, it was a suggestion to allow some interesting mechanics such as custom VI altars that I have since implemented - the original behaviour in early versions of RTC was exactly what you are suggesting).

Hmm, the only way that would optically make sense to me was if an explosion inside an illusionary wall would be drawn paler/darker than a normal explosion.

The illusion is temporarily blown aside by the explosion so you can see it clearly...who knows...
