Thankyou very much Gambit!

Go ahead and fire the nuke at the other two accounts, I can't even remember why I re-registered all those years ago when had an account already from even further back. No matter now though, just get rid.

Thanks again Gambit :D

It's nice to hear you got your problem sorted Gambit - I know how much of a bugger it can be to shift a virus, and you didn't take the easy and often unnecessary reformat option that so many people take. Norton, and most retail 'protection programs', often do more damage than good, the one thing I l...

Smash Bros Brawl (Woo!)

Hey guys, Just imported Smash Bros Brawl for the Wii from the US and after a bit of a palaver, got it working. Thouroughly enjoying it and I would recommend it to anyone who was a fan of the previous games. The online play is not too shabby - I mean the Wii is no Xbox Live but hey, it's Nintendo we'...

This has to be the best flash game ever! So simple but quite a chuckle at the end :) http://www.mazapan.se/games/BurnTheRope.php You absoultely must have Flash Player 9 installed before playing as the game is unplayable without it and the ending is immediately spoiled. You're best off installing it ...

I was pretty impressed with it too. What really got me excited was the way that buildings are made up from indiviual pieces, meaning you can drive vehicles into them and they'll collapse. Not sure if it's going to be an updated Far Cry, apart from the suit tricks and small gameplay changes, it to me...

There's not much that I think is worth saying that everyone above has said already. Wise words from everybody. And as for that waiting game balls, I think Sophia hit the nail on the head there. You definitely need to take a look at the official CS wiki. There's a few tutorials that I found invaluble. One thing I really noticed from the CS is that the controls aren't really intuitive, especially after using UnrealEd. One guide on the official wiki named, quite simply 'A beginner's guide' ex...

Very impressive, even without any mapping. Can't wait to see how you progress with this. The scaling looks pretty good too - that's the bugger I've always had with Unreal, you have to make things super high because the default jump height is so high.

Hoho! They've just released the original Amiga version of SB2 on Xbox Live Arcade. I bought it and whilst it has the original Amiga graphics, there's some wierd 'High Definition' 3D graphics that you can use. I can't get used to the 3D look (even though it's still top-down) and I can't even begin to...

Tried, but Oblivion's dungeons are made up from lots of meshes put together like building blocks. It'd get pretty boring pretty quickly going through levels looking exactly the same... wait a sec... In all seriousness though, I've thought about doing it once or twice, but the Construction Set is ver...

Remember those damn locked room games? Crimson, Viridian etc? Well apparently they're coming to the DS now in Japan! Seems a bit of a waste to me though as there's not much replay value in them on the net, let alone buying them for a games console. Although, for 11 quid / 22 US dollars / 21 Canadian...

Ancient topic of the past! I've still got my 360 and play on it regularly. Just bought Forza 2 which kicks arse on so many levels. Not got Gears of War (and prob never will) Currently I'm chomping at the bit to get my hands on Mass Effect. Only three letters can describe that game - OMG. One thing I...

When I lost someone close to me, noone in the house touched his computer for months, even though it was the only one in the house! I know it's a bit late, but I've been way busy lately. bitza kinda said it all really. My hometown's Doncaster and my mum and bro still live there. Played the pre-alpha and it looks pretty promising. All they have is the first level mapped out with nothing else in it. You can walk around and that's about it. Can't really say much else about it until it's in a playable state. Best off linking to the actual website as the forum Paul posted is in ...

Group presentations were a semi-regular part of my business class, and those were a pain. I can only begin to imagine what building a game might have been like. "Not easy" is a start. I'd be interested to know how your group divided and managed the labor. Urgh, group presentations. I've d...

Yeah it probably does, but I'm telling you it was a godsend last summer when the temps in this country peaked at 37.5 degrees C. Unbearable it was!
