Also, along with this crash above, I discovered that the changes made in 0.75a to get my new msgzone working has now broken chests and other subrenderers with msgzones (eg, moneybox in test dungeon): these flicker on and off now and thus are randomly responsive.

Ok, there is clearly more going on here, so it seems like I'll need to look at your dungeon after all.

I forgot to say thanks on this thread for the latest fixes, this is all working perfectly now in 0.75d.

Another small thing I noticed: the new method for tweaking the Objlook and Stats subrenderers have a small override problem: their backgrounds are positioned at 6,0 within their main function. But if you want a background to be displayed at 0,0, you can't currently do that using the new override system as there's no x/y offsets exposed to adjust the background in the stats{} and objlook{} tables.
