I suggest throwing stuff.... when it comes back, you know you've found a teleporter. Find a route with no teleporters.

Thanks Gambit that worked fine. Can someone tell me what is happening on the Time Switch level when you press one of the buttons. I can't hear any doors opening but presume that is what is happening.

I reached the kaos level. Indeed it is chaotic !

At the end of the graveyard level, I was missing one skeketon key at the door with three locks.
Can one loose a key, using it in a wrong lock ?

I found a key lying on the floor of the never ending room on the Graveyard level. Very easy to miss that one as you are concentrating on getting through the room.

The Time Switches puzzle must be one of the most ridiculous puzzles it is my misfortune to encounter on any Dungeon Master game. I haven't completed it nor do I have any desire to do so. If the author hadn't told me what I was supposed to do I would never had guessed. Also different computers are going to run at different speeds and trying to find all the switches in the time stipulated is laughable. I think Ouch has a fixation with speed tests, in that we have had 3 in 2 levels. Can't he think of something else. I doubt this will be the last in the game either.

Speed.
I made a mistake telling about a door that stayed open for only 3 seconds. I rechecked carefully, actally it is exactly 4.5 seconds . Outch told us that he programed 4.5 and will change it to 5 seconds.

Keys.
Thanks I found my missing skeleton key. I had looked all over the level and did not see it. Nothing mean here, it is not too difficult. One needs sharp eyes to see skeleton keys.

I like the dungeon very much.
It is very well organised.
It is very logical with clearly defined themes at each level.
It has "untity"
about space ( a puzzle is well localized in a quite small area )
about action ( a puzzle does not mix too many tricks ).

This is up to the kaos level, here things are becoming chaotic. Getting more difficult.

The grey keys being hard to see is a quirk of RTC, for some reason they are just slightly less obvious than in the DM engine, even though the graphics are the same!

I am glad to know, my eyes have not gone weaker.
May be the grey for these keys needs some adjusting. May be a palette ( LUT ) issue.

I had much worse on a Atari game ( Bloodwitch ) about a missing white key.
It took me ages searching the entire dungeon to finally find that damn white key on a quite same white doorstep.

No LUT in RTC, it runs in 24 bit colour. The issue is one of scaling, RTC doesn't scale the same way DM did, because it's double the resolution and so introduces a sort of "half-pixel" for some items when shown at different scaling distances.

I am reaching a zoom...
I did some of the chaos level.
Up to a RA lock where I opened one door, but there are 3 more closed doors beyond.

I did little at the zoom level.
I cannot go across a double zoom circuit with Vexirks guarding an Emerald key locked door.
May be this gives access to more RA keys.

Chaos and Zoom levels are very difficult. A lot is going very fast.

I made it throught the double zoom.
I reached the HALL OF LOOP level.
I found ony one RA key. I have no idea what to do to get more RA keys.
I did find the 3 skeleton keys for the door with 3 locks at the end of the graveyard level. It is difficult to see them.

I found all the runes.
I don't find the key for a locked door at the "hall of loops" level.

I am stuck at the 4 doors with a Ra lock at the "chaos" level.
With 5 Ra keys, I cannot pass.
3 doors did open with 3 Ra keys, so far so good. :D
A 4th Ra key was accepted by the lock, but the 4th door did not open. :o
With a 5th Ra key, same thing. The lock swallows it, but the 4th door stays shut.

Is the game supposed to do that ?

I supposed that 4th Ra key can open 4th door.
So it's strange :(

Can we fix this "four Ra doors trouble".
Will it help if I send you savegames.
I have a save with 2 keys already in the lock, there are 2 open doors ( All seems well).
Another save with 4 keys already in the lock, there are 3 open doors ( Something went wrong ).

Unfortunately I overwrote a save with 2 keys already in the lock and 2 more keys ready in the inventory.
This is where I saw the third door opening, then the fourth not moving.
If this can help, I can redo this one, but it will take some time, slashing herds of monsters.

If there is a bug in the dungeon, Ouch! will need to fix it -- but your save games can't be updated to use it.
You would have to download the fixed dungeon and play it again from the beginning...

Well, I am not complaining. I am ready for this. I have good maps.
I like this dungeon very much.

BTW I think it is possible for dungeon designers to incorporate in their dungeon, fast testing, with secret back doors for quick acces to dungeon levels by a super duper test hero.
Such feature would be a designer's secret.

Good news.
The four Ra doors opened as they should.

I restarted from the save game where I had got two keys and used them to open two doors.
I did the work to get two more keys. They did open the third and fourth door.

Very strange. No bug, some glitch. Could it make a difference which Ra keys were used ?

I think I have found.
Likely this was from confusions in my save games at various stages about the search for Ra keys to open the four doors.

No bug.
The dungeon is perfect.

News from the dungeon.
It is pretty violent upstairs. I made some clean up. Not an easy task with caracters in the 500 Health.
I did not mind to collect the Lyte and Darc outfits ( I like to travel light ) .
Could be I'll need more power and protection.
I am quite sure I'll need the firestaff, I guess where it is, I am on the way, but I don't have acces yet.
