==================================================================================
v1.5 of the sck tool (DM/CSB data extractor) is out!( http://greatstone.free.fr/dm/index.html )
==================================================================================

Whis this new release, one of the main remaining file format of Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes Back is now supported: the savegame files.
It means that graphics, dungeon, hints, portraits, ftl, sounds, and now savegame -so all major files types- for nearly all platforms are extractable by the sck.

See the screenshots section for an overview.
Basically, all the complex stuff is now much easier than before and html extraction is a matter of a few clicks.
At least, it is easier for me and fortunately, I am my first customer :)

GreatStone.

Jay.

Hello JetEngine,

Perhaps you can stick with English? I am fluent with it, so no problem at all for me to understand you:)

GreatStone

Veuillez pardonner *coughs, clears throat" ahem, sorry about assuming that you would want any questions in French, but I wanted to make it easier for you to understand me. As it turns out, I make myself look like a fool and make you go "What the heck is this guy trying to ask?".

My questions were:
1) Does this new version of DMute allow support for or importation of Dungeon Master 2 maps?
2) Is the new DMute willing and able to edit the size of the dungeon?
3) Will it allow 32-bit Windows XP to run it?

I happened to add question number trois on a whim.

Once again, I apologize for hardly understanding the French language (limited to bonjour {good afternoon}, bien {happy}, comme-ci comme-ca {could be better, could be worse}, mal {sad}, au revoir {to the re-seeing}, and my numbers). It has been I long time since I went to my french class in public school. I also happen to recall that étre means "to be" and avoir means "to have", although I don't recall exact details (like j'ai un crayon :( ).

Have a bonne nuit!
Jay.
