Looked good to me! Faithful to the poriginal characters in looks, voice and traits.

It was an unofficial release that's been taken down on most places that had it. No matter: it's now been officially released and you can watch it here:

Having watched it again in better quality, I'm wryly smiling inside. Though like Beo, something died too: Hollywood, please stop messing with our childhood memories!

Everyone looks the part, though too little of murdoch shown to get a sense of him, and they have all the nods to the original series (except for mentioning solders of fortune)

Just...I dunno... I have very low expectations :(

But that's good! You might be pleasanlty surprised. :)

Though, I rarely go to see action films at the cinema these days as they are mostly all the same and it seems like a waste of money. That genre rarely interests me anymore, even for the "leave brain at door and just have some fun" aspect.

OMG, a man shooting from a battle tank that is falling down from an exploded aeroplane; the fall is being slowed down by a battery of red-and-white parachutes. OMG! OMG! I have to see this!
Finally playing and immensely enjoying the awesome Thimbleweed Park-a-reno!

I'm surprised they weren't firing at a shark with a gorilla cannon while falling

Actually, they managed to land with the battle tank because
Spoiler
they were able to develop hydrogen (the lightest gas) from their Nuke Cola
, but directly after the landing they had to
Spoiler
defeat a three-headed monkey with only a banana-picker
. After a short
Spoiler
love affair between two male members of the team
they returned home using
Spoiler
a hovercraft full of eels
.
Finally playing and immensely enjoying the awesome Thimbleweed Park-a-reno!
