some suggestions

Post by Zyx »

It would be handy to have a dungeon designed for testing: with all the kind of monsters behind closed doors and with all the objects available. Also, with some archmaster characters and others normal.

An dungeon-Editor would be nice too, at least for the testing.

Maybe it would be useful to have RTC files divided into
RTC engine
RTC sound files
RTC graphic files
RTC dungeons.
So the download would be faster, and we could make some customizations available for the others.

Unfortunately a dungeon editor doesn't exist, even a very bad one. RTC runs off text files like NewDM does at the moment, doing anything more will be another project in itself. :-(

Certainly I intend to split up the download for the next release although probably into only 2 bits (core and *.RTCs) as the sounds, graphics and engine are all interdependent and can't be (logically) seperated out.
