That strange scroll

since playing Chaos on my old ST since it came out, and I'd like to think that i've seen and done it all, however, one thing elludes me, does anyone know what the mystery scroll reading "GRYNZX, ERNUM QUEY KI SKEBOW REDNZM U OS DEY WEFNA ENOCARN AQUANTANA" means?

Where did you find that scroll? I've never even come across it.

I can't remeber off hand. It was found in the Atari ST version.

I'll hunt it down and see what I can deduce (could be the red herring which was removed in the Amiga version in place of the magic map (I read that a red herring from the ST version was removed to make way for that map somewhere on this forum).

I've looked at it, I've tried it backwards, I've tried anagrams, nothing... it's either a total red herring, or it's a cryptogram that I haven't worked out... :)

there certainly isnt any other scrolls in the same "language" - probably just a mistake or joke.... hey-ho.

I was thinking that the whole thing is a cryptogram, with the first word being "Theron", but that can't be it when those letters are applied to the rest of the puzzle. Next I tried "Friend". Still seems to be a dead end. I'll keep trying and let you know if I can come up with something.

the spelling of the message is different in this thread and the other one
("quest for holy scroll" iirc)

can someone verify which is the real one ?
