The Saints are getting a chance for glory today. (The Saints and the Colts for this year's championship)
Potato chips and dip (beer too ) have all but disappeared off the shelves.
We'll see how excited folks are, say about 8 or 9 this evening.

Re: Big day for Louisiana football fans
I remember a few years ago the Saints lost to the Bears in the NFC game and then the Bears went on to play the Colts in the Super Bowl. The Colts won that one. I wonder how many Saints fans were telling themselves, "If it was us, we could've done it."
Now they have their chance. Let's see.
(I'll be going to a little informal "party" later on too. It's going to be a "make your own tacos" kind of thing. Yum!)

We had Subways and nachos.
Can't believe the Saints didn't get it in the end zone on that one set of plays.
They're just lucky it's 6-10, rather than 3-10.
All those yards in the second quarter, yet they have to do a 'hail Mary' pass, a short pass, and then a 3-pointer.
I'm going to have to go to work before the game is over. Maybe my blood pressure will go down?

Wooo! Quite a good game.
Oh, I hope you can get home. The streets are probably more wild than Mardi Gras right around now.

We used to get this on the television back in the UK - maybe still do. The Spanish, however, would rather follow your basketball!

Who DAT? DAT me team! Kind of quiet on the way home. No alcohol is sold after midnight on Sunday.
It was a great night for Saints fans.
They set up a television at work, so I was able to watch the last half.
