TONARI SUPERSTAR!!!!!!! You have made it! In fact it is easyer than your Idea: monster-x swaps to object-x object-x expires emediatly and swaps to monster-y and activates relay-clone-z which swaps monster-y to monster-z and so on! Thats it! It works! I would had neved gained the Idea to sw...

I have designed a weappon that swaps a monster in front of you. For this reason I have to make sure, that there is the monster in front of you and not an empty tile or another monster etc. but the swapping happens in many steps (like the fusing of Lord Chaos) and you should have a cloud appearing no...

Thanks George. You are right - the crash dissappeared and my mechanics works as expected. I am happy because this is the last big problem in my costum dungeon :D But to change the mechanics, as suggested from you, makes everything rolling up again :( Also your suggestion, Tonari, does not help: The ...

George I have send you RTC-File + TXT.

If you want to understand what happens you have to have a look at level 12 where the mechanic is placed (and on the new attack method "fuse 2").

triggering relays

I am trying to have a relay only triggered if monster-x ist swapt to monster-y. I entered as relay-conditions VALUE OF MONSTER-X IS LESS THAN 1 and respectively VALUE OF MONSTER-Y IS GREATER THAN 0 Both terminates RTC emediatly - without writing a logfile or anything else. Did I something wrong or i...

KILL_ALL_MONSTER kills obviously all monsters in the dungeon - but what does the action KILL_MONSTER do?

kills all Monsters in front? on Tile? local?

I have tried to do experiments with this but all I got was no effect - never...

There are 2 mainindications for the original DM Graphiks: 1 They have only 16 Colours (this palette had been enlarged for DMII) 2 Their raster has a width of 2x2 Pixels If you pixalize your Photo, the result looks much more like traditional DM Graphiks. For reducing the colourpalette you have to loo...

changing fuse bitmaps

I have changed the bitmaps which have to be used when LChaos is fused. I thought that means, this bitmaps are shown in that alternating way like the ones of LORDE and LGrey. But when I fuse LChaos now that did not happen - instead I see the (changed) fusioncloud and than Chaos has dissappeared. Did ...

It looks like you've added a lot of custom graphics. Well, some... for egsample a bookshelf... Maybe this is in general less spectacularly than I thought it would be - hope others can enjoy it. THE DARK STRONGHOLD OF XAROSTAK

Hi I am editing a new Dungeon. In fact I am nearly ready - just have to do some testings. Meanwhile I thought it is a good Idea to post my README- and STORY-File because I am sure my English is not good enough. Maybe there are some nice native english people here who can have a look at it. Also thes...

where is the relation between speed/performance and the sound muffling??

I would be very glad if this could be fixed. I am always irritated when I have that experience.

[Fixed for V0.44] muffling sounds

we had this once before, but here is something new relating to that: when you have a sound event i.e. opening a door and you are one tile away from it, it sounds as if it would be very far away. scheme: wdw x w= wall; d= door; x=party even if you are faced to the wall and can see the door halfright ...

Can you do some scans and post them here or send then to the Encyclopedia ?

thanks, Linflas that was really helpful. I am always afraid to alter options depending the hardware - so I have forgotten that you can set something for the SCREEN_MODE. [not a bug] different resolution in window-mode

when you use the window-mode of RTC (which I do while editing and checking a Dungeon) I realized, that the resolution of the bitmaps differs from the full-screen-mode. To be precise the length seems to be shortened (or the hight streched). Could it be possible to get that right? Would help to verify...

It is not mentioned in the config file and I never managed it to work.
Otherwise - if it is not implemented yet, maybe george could do this??

I think a good way to solve this is to load an actual dungeon text file i.e. of CSB and have a look what parameters are set in the definition-part (wallsets, spells, main-data...)
when you do this in an editor and load your dungeon, too, you can compare them. I have found this way many errors.
