Version 0.83 is out!

Dungeon Master Builder (DMBuild) is the next version of the program previously named DMEdit (which was available in the Miscelaneous Files Upload forum).

Sphenx is still developing it but it already includes many features not found in DMute.

You can download it from the Downloads page.

Re: Reading walkthrough and...

I am not the author of the walkthrough, so I won't modify it. Moreover, I don't have any time for this.
You are free to write another better walkthrough if you want, and I'll be happy to publish it.

Re: Square room in level 7

Simple, you cannot! This room with the teleporters and the gigglers form the trick used by the designers to randomly put some items in the dungeon. The random movements of the gigglers will make them enter a random teleporter, and they will drop their items at the destination of the teleporter. Look...

Personnaly, I use Crazy Browser (<a href="http://www.crazybrowser.com).">www.crazybrowser.com).</a> It is a clone of Netcaptor for those who know it, but it is a freeware instead of a shareware. Very stable, and I did not have a single ad popup since I use it. Give it a try, it is great! C...

Re: editors and tools

When it is finished, DMEdit (developed by Sphenx) will be far more powerful than both DMute and Textmute. It will remove all the limitations of DMute which can only "mute" objects: you cannot add / remove objects. DMute only allows you to modify the existing dungeon. DMEdit will be a real ...

Re: One more time, I can't save

Re: Race to Fusion

Paul, Sphenx, Can we dream of some sort of converter that could take any Dungeon.dat for the PC version of DM (made with DMute or your own editor) and make it CSB for Windows compatible? Does version 9.04 only fix some bugs or does it implement specific code to manage the DM dungeon? In other words,...

I don't like the way you shout everywhere in these forums by posting a lot of messages asking the same question. You will not have better chances of having a correct answer in that way. You just annoy every visitor who has to read all of your useless messages. As a consequence, I deleted all your po...

Chaos Strikes Back for Windows version 9.0 is available on the Clones page. Release notes by Paul Stevens: 1 - This is the first release since I lost my hard disk and had to try and recover. I hope I got everything restored but I am not sure. 2 - I added a 'Speed' menu to allow you to play the game ...

Re: Emulating DM2?

The SegaCD version has CD-Audio music. Graphics are the same as in the amiga version.
The PC version has better graphics in my opinion.

Your PC may be a little slow for the amiga emulation with WinUAE (give it a try). I don't know about performance of the SegaCD emulator.

Re: Impossible

I also stumbled upon this puzzle, but it's not impossible :)

The trick is to use the keyboard to move in the dungeon. With some training, you'll find it's faster than the mouse.
To move in the dungeon with the keyboard, use the arrow keys while pressing the CTRL key.

Re: problem with dm2 amiga download

Thanks to Antman, I identified the problem with the installation procedure for Dungeon Master II for Amiga on the Games Setup Guide. As a workaround, you have to use WinUAE version 0.8.8 R8 (also available on the Games Setup Guide, in the CSB for Amiga section) for INSTALLING the game. Then, to PLAY...
