You mean, when fighting "materials" DISRUPT is a very-very strong hit. But at the same time I can user DISRUPT as a "hard-hard"-hit, similar (stronger?) than DISPELL, to fight "no-materials"? Is then DISRUPT finite (like DISPELL in some sticks), or infinite?

Really, only now I start discovering the sense and idea of "war cry", "calm", "brandish", etc. - the "soft" weapons in DM & CSB.
What is "disrupt" really? Like "brandish" just stronger?

I managed to copy the following files to the following directory
/usr/local/games
The files there are:
"CSBwin" (the SDL 2.0 version)
"dungeon.dat"
"graphics.dat"
"mini.dat"
"csbwin.sh"
When I try to execute CSBwin - as root - from command I get the following error:
CSBwin 12.0v0
SDL ...

so far I managed to run ChaosStrikesBack under Linux with WINE-Emulator, and it works.
Now I saved one game and have one file named "dungeon.dat" - and will try to copy it into my Linux-Directory and then start the game.
Any success will be reported...

@ Ameena: I did not know the level 5 is not necessary - on the other hand, there is enough water and food nearby (screamer-generator in level 4), so it was a good training for my skills!... But these were really NASTY, especially in the north-west area where is a generator... So I will not need ...

Now I am in level 4 and have a bad time with fighting couatls (flying snakes) without FUL IR - they are really fast, too fast for poison cloud or any door-trick!... The one I killed was a combination of some door-slams, magical-box & hits, and a lot of ninja-combat (throwing or shooting with bow ...
