Pressure pad trigger bug?
Type: bug Version: 0.07 When entered eight (the ghost's hall) level, there is a pressure plate which open/closes a pit located between stairs and mentioned pressure plate. When I am standing on that pressure plate a clicking onto ground on neighbour tiles (imagine party staying on the pressure plate...

Re: General debates (v0.07)
Yes, using more advanced operations (chop, melee, berzerk) etc. almost always caused stamina decrease in DM. I think even simple actions like swing took stamina from non-experienced characters (like neophyte fighter).

Is ineffective for me. It takes either nothing or 1 HP. I think it is because I reincarnated (instead of ressurected) my party members and although I am casting spells very often, by playing (not training) I have at ghosts (eighth) level one person Novice wizard and one person Neophyte Priest. We di...

I encountered wasp in the skeleton level and it's way too slow (both in attack and movement speed). In CSB it attacked like sewing-machine

[Fixed for V0.39] Keyboard and mouse not synchronized
There is (a big IMHO) problem with events. I have heavily overloaded (== slow) party. When I have an item in mouse and I press up arrow and THEN I try to throw item, it FIRST throws the item and THEN steps ahead. In DM and CSB it was buffered right way - if I pressed up arrow and then threw item, fi...

Tapping on the wall
I would like to have tapping on the wall like CSB had in RTC. For those who do not know what I am talking about: When I want to check, if the wall I see is illusionary (false) or not, I just tapped with mouse on that wall. When the wall was true rock, I heard tapping sound. When the wall was illusio...

Re: New bugs foung
I think skeleton should fly at least so far so chainmail does. But I think in this case is only "aerodynamic" factor set too high. It is only detail and if solution would take more than 2 mins it is not worth to fix it. Just to be precise.

Re: Experience and level gaining is bad
I understand, but what I see wrong is that my (and I repeat, reincarnated, ie without any experience in magic area) characters wasn't able to case lowest level FUL or lowest level YA or lowest level VI spells so I had a big problems on the 3rd floor where I had to open door with ZO spell, which my c...

Finally I finished level 4 and my reincarnated Tiggy gained "neophyte wizard" level. I was in front of stairs to the 5th floor and I made one step ahead so I stepped down to the level five (leaving stairs behind my back and I could see wooden railing on the left and right). I threw chest f...

Re: Experience and level gaining is bad
I think to gain master-levels you must train your champoins a lot! I it really sad then my chapions are diyng on the 4th floor because no my champion is able to cast "YA BRO" cure poison spell even with the lowest power! This is really bad, I spend about 600 mana points for each of my magi...

Whe I had throusers in mouse pointer, I wanted to enter into the inventory of the rightmost adventurer, but I moved my mouse far to the right (where icons of champions positions are), clicked with right mouse button end RTC suddenly quit without any question/warning.

I would like to thank George for unbelievable piece of work and time he spend on RTC, because although it is not ideal (what else is?), I have much pleasure playing it. No other game gave me so good feeling of DM like RTC :-). I like enhancements like improved graphics, spellbook spellsystem etc. I ...

1. when using "Swing" with falchion, it is more efective than using "Parry", what is wrong IMHO 2. Rock piles are very weak. I remember when I player "Gem chamber" on the 3rd floor in real DM, I escaped very often so far where pit is, but in RTC I finished it without bi...

Experience and level gaining is bad
I reincarnated all my characters (instead of ressurection). I wonder, because: * all my characters are gaining ninja level very fast * my fighters gain no level for a long, long time, but after gained first (neophyte fighter) level, they gained next levels (novice) quickly - more faster than neophyt...

Undrawn items in alcove
Lets imagine this situation.
Wall with alcove is on coordinates X,Y. When I am facing this alcove, I am on position X, Y-1. But when am I on the position X-1 (probably also X+1), Y-2, I can see a part of alcove, but not items placed in the alcove but I am sure they should be visible.

When I throw my club against monster, when it hits the monster, sound "ding" should me played. When monster with sticked item (for ex. dagger) dies, it should make "ding" sound again because items hit the ground.

Re: I would like 3D engine
Huh, seems like chat :-) You have asked, why should George release his personal project. I will ask the different way: why not if it could help someone? It is only up to George if he decides to release or not. And about coding: I think only rendering subsystem should be *completely* rewritten, becau...
I would like 3D engine
but as someone wrote, with movement restricted to step-like (as in original DM). I think it would bring these plusses: * 3D accelerator support for special visual effect instead of making all visual effects only with main CPU (look at (BTW very good) RTC, how it is time and power compsumting because...

Re: Problems with Spells (v0.05)
Yes, this is true. I remember when I was playing CSB on Amiga, I fought with one dragon and I escaped though the stairs. After I rested and got some mana, I prepared MON-FUL-IR fireball, went down and I tried to get the dragon. But when I casted fireball, dragon went to the next tile so fireball hit...

I have played ST version only on pacifist emulator, but since I had an Amiga, I played it a lot (and now I do in WinFellow). And what about invisible monsters like ghosts and faders? It should be immune against blunt and sharp attack and against fire and magic as well - only "weaken non-material beings" and "Disrupt" action could harm them.

Re: Dancing mummy
OK, I will try to explain it: When some monster is scared (I encountered it with mummies) and tries to run away, it can sometimes get into the dead end corridor. When the monster is on the end of the dead end corridor and my party blocks only exit from that, mummy starts to turn around since it coul...
