You might want to add a clue about speed. If you go back slowly then you never see the eyes close. At first I thought the 2nd switch would just turn off the lightning, which it didn't. Then I thought maybe they had to be activated in order, either 1-2-3 or 3-2-1, which again did nothing. Then I thou...

Am I missing something about the 1-2-3 puzzle? Killed the monsters, found the 1-2-3 switches but the lightning still doesn't turn off. Well, since I needed help here, then I'd agree that some sort of hint is necessary :D or, if you want to make it a bit easier, then just have it be a regular fake wall instead of toggling the movable wall with the door button. Oh, I had forgotten about those. I had tried them on the pads that are barrel activated before moving the barrel around. Holes are now plugged.

Not sure I would have ever tried a key as a weapon. A hint might be useful for that.
