its the helm of madness whispered, i picked it up when i defeated the dragon type monster, near the bones/sword of Druafang.. It's not cursed - from what my priest is telling me... and i'm sure it's been on my inventry when i've uncursed other items.

Hi, I've been playing for a while now and have manged to get the Dexhelm, when i put this on everything goes black and i get the mumblings/whispering in my ears - i'm not sure what i'm supposed to do with this item and searching through other posts it would appear most people find this item usefull....

Trantor, great article - great to reminisce again... I was caught between 1990-1995, and 1995-2000. I spent a lot of my younger days, playing classic games on my Atari ST - games like DM, Airball, Gauntlet and Impossible Mission II to name a few...but 1990-1995 had me captured many a late night stil...

To get DM2 to work, it's easiest to use the dosbox app - http://www.dosbox.com/ the latest version 0.72 supports DM2 rather well.

You can use the commands to speed up the frame rates etc. depending on your cpu/computer to get the best from the game.
