Yes, thanks, I had just pasted the first message of the thread without checking for it.

I doubt someone will give the solution, but who knows.

Some of the animated armors are easily dealt with as you can make them fall into traps. This is the case of the first one you meet in DM, thanks to the invisible traps at the first room of the level, and maybe other armors can be killed that way (I don't remember which can reach that room, not all o...

Problems when reincarnating DM characters

I have found an important difference between the original Atari ST version of DM and the one with CSBwin. When you reincarnate characters in DM, they lose all their levels, but keep the same main stats (e.g. 40/50/30 for Wuuf) and their secondary stats are slightly higher than those of the resurrect...

I believe zyx did some tests to find out how much damage you do this way with fireballs - i believe it was something staggeringly small like 3% of the normal damage! Funnily, the player gets no such slack when we lob a fireball against a wall! Pain rats would be better levl depth wise for gaining e...

Remarks on CSB for Windows

Hi all, I just tried CSB for Windows and I warmly congratulate the authors of this wonderful game. I would like to bring to your attention a list of minor bugs that I have noticed: 1) After having died or commited suicide, when I load a savegame, I hear the sound of the screaming characters. I am no...

No, see http://dmweb.free.fr/CSBLevel04.htm , the shortcut I had in mind (at the end of the Death Row area) is for the Atari ST version.

It's not missing, it's just a different game with and without the map. Mapmaking is a part of that sort of game, and automap from the game is some sort of crime for me. Also the shortcut in the Ros way is very good (and is not present in the Amiga version).

OK, with the latest version it works. Glad to be able to play again with the Atari version (which I prefer to the Amiga one because it has no magical map).

Quest for the holy scroll

Dear all, I just discovered this site and find it excellent. I remember having discussed in one DM/CSB forum years ago (in 1999), when George Gilbert was beginning his fantastic DMUTE, things have changed a lot since then ! About this "holy scroll", maybe I can share with you a few thought...
