Re: Luck in CSBwin and DSB

I'm not sure how Luck work in DSB(of course, original DM too).
So, I assume that Champion's Luck is 10 times like other stats in my custom dungeon.
However I don't feel out of place with my custom dungeon when i test-played it.
I feel a bit of chance which critical damage to monster was increased...

Re: "opby" question

I suggest to you try to use "M_RESET" exver with trigger(counter or msg_handler) objects.
If you send "M_RESET" msg to object with "disable" which is worked,
The "inactive" object would reset "active" and work again.

Re: Do you ever map by hand?

Ah, CDS(Crusaders of the Dark Savant) is good and difficult game!! :) I've drawn many maps by my hand when i was kid.(DM, Wizardry1-7,megami tensei and other retro 3DRPG...). I dont' like mapping by hand so much because it is boring work and spent time to create map. But, If I draw a map on my mind,...

How would a Japanese with insufficient knowledge of English pronounce "Lord Chaos"?
I say it "Lord Chaos" is "Low-ed Cu(t)-o-su" in Japanese pronounce.

Re: [DSB] SFC(SNES)MOD_v1.1

Certainly, DES_VEN spells on DSB is different behavior from RTC.
IMHO, I'll suggest to try casting OH_VEN spell to Rockpile instead of casting DES_VEN.
Poison cloud on DSB could give powerful and painfully damage to monster like a Rockpile. :)

Re: [DSB] SFC(SNES)MOD_v1.1

Thanks for playing all. bug : i noticed that DES-VEN spells give 0 damage to enemies. I think that It's probably not a bug. Because , In the base lua code, the monster which have high "Armor" or "Anti-Poison" was immune to the DES_VEN spells. (e.g Rockpile has high "Armor&qu...

[DSB] SNES PORT v1.51(English translation has be done!)

Hello, All. Sophia's DSB and ESB are very interesting tools for me and Lua language is so powerful. I had time to create my custom dungeon with ESB and DSB day after day. Now I've finished this project and upload it. "SFCMOD_v1.51"(37.0MB) http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jpz9kbkwszj7...

(fixed) To cast spell is too easy

I think that it is too easy to cast some difficult or powerful spell in DSB. I checked a base code. Line 563 in system.lua local wisdom = dsb_get_stat(who, STAT_WIS) + 15 if (wisdom > 115) then wisdom = 115 end Return integer of "dsb_get_stat" is ten times. Therefore, "wisdom" is...

Edit by Sophia: If you experience this problem, you don't have to do anything. The download has been fixed. Just download DSB 0.42 again and you'll have a corrected version. I've got DSB0.42 and tested with my custom dungeon and your test_dungeon. But, I've found a seriously bug, so I'll report it....

"opby" question

Hi,Sophia.

I'd like to continuously sound a Waterdrop-SE When the dungeon is begging (before a champion is ressurected or reincarnated)

So,How to check "Whether or not Theron?" when stepping on the Invisible-trigger?(like a "opby = party_empty" in RTC)
